WFH Wednesday- April 7, 2021
Welcome to WFH Wednesday, our new blog series where we'll be sharing some of our favorite Work From Home highlights every Wednesday! From our favorite tips to easy and fun recipes to make in between virtual meetings, we've got you covered. Each week we'll be featuring 6 different categories all focused on making your work from home experience the best it can be. Plus, we know you're busy, so we made it the perfect length to read during one of your sanity breaks.
So, without further adieu, let's get into it:
What We're Improving On This Week:
Things can often get overwhelming during the week, so to ensure you don't fall into bad habits, we recommend setting aside some time during the weekend to take care of any chores or prep work you won't have time for later in the week. Even just taking an hour during the weekend to get groceries or meal prep can make a world of difference during the week. Trust us, when it's 9pm on Tuesday and you're tempted to order Dominos, your future self will thank you.
What We're Laughing At This Week:

For anyone who has had a meeting that could have been taken care of with a simple email (aka everyone at this point), you'll certainly relate to this Tik Tok.
What We're Buying This Week:
Apparently Larry David wasn't the first person to come up with a self heating coffee mug. The good people at Ember created an awesome mug that doesn't just keep your coffee hot, but also allows you to set your optimal drinking temperature. Available in 2 different colors (black and white) and sizes (10 and 14oz), the Ember Mug is the perfect wfh companion. Because the last thing you want to do when a meeting runs long is drink cold coffee.
What We're Eating this Week:

This is the perfect recipe to make when you don't have a ton of time, but still want a healthy option that isn't another salad. Plus, it requires little to no cooking, as you can use smoked salmon (Our favorite is from Trader Joe's). If you want to save even more time, we also recommend using microwave minute rice, so you don't have to deal with the extra prep and clean up :)
How We're Zooming This Week:
Zoom meetings can feel pretty boring and redundant at this point, so to spice them up and make them more fun, we recommend mixing in some different virtual backgrounds (In addition to using DigiCards of course!) This week, we're taking a blast to the past, as we remember a time when the only virus we were worried about was from computers, and the word zoom only meant to magnify something. Ah, what a simpler time.
That's it for this week! Make sure to check back next Wednesday for our next edition, and if you have anything you want us to feature, be sure to let us know at hello@hellodigicards.com
Be well!
